WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The WDM Lacrosse team has 1 main goal, a state title.  A Nebraska state title.

The Tigers head to the Cornhusker state this weekend in hopes of returning with a state title trophy.

There are only two varsity lacrosse teams in Iowa (West Des Moines and Ankeny) so the Tigers are forced to play in the Nebraska league.  The West Des Moines team actually has players from all over Central Iowa, Dowling, Johnston, Waukee, SE Polk, Urbandale, etc.

6 years after starting the first lacrosse program in Iowa, the Tigers head to Nebraska as the 1-seed, and their best chance at bringing home the championship hardware.
