13 Iowans Arrested in Connection With Drug Trafficking

WAPELLO COUNTY, Iowa – A total of 13 Iowans have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking.

At approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, law enforcement executed several search and arrest warrants throughout Wapello County, according press release.

Officials said they found meth methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash and other items consistent with drug distribution at eight different residences in Iowa.

All 13 people charged in connection to the case were taken to Wapello County Jail.

15 different enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation.
