Two Men Arrested after Jumping in Des Moines River While Drunk

DES MOINES, Iowa – Police say two men were arrested on Saturday after jumping in the Des Moines River while intoxicated.

Officers arrested 23-year-old Michael Rocha and 33-year-old Anthony Lozano around 5:30 p.m.

Police believe the two men went to the Iowa Craft Brew Festival on the Court Avenue Bridge,  before jumping into the river to cool off.

Both men are charged with public intoxication.
