OSCEOLA COUNTY, Iowa — Authorities are investigating the death of a man in northern Iowa.

The body of 29-year-old Brandon Gould was found by railroad tracks near Sibley on Monday.

Officials say Gould had been traveling with his wife on a Union Pacific railcar when he fell off and was run over.

They say his wife reported him missing that afternoon, once the train arrived in Mankato, Minnesota.

An autopsy was performed on Gould’s body and his death has been ruled accidental.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Department of Public Safety, and Osceola County depities are still investigating the death.
