Des Moines - The Pleasantville Trojans came 1 win shy of winning their first state baseball title, losing to Mason City Newman Catholic on Saturday 10-0 in 5 innings.

It was a crazy week for the Pleasantville community as the town battled flooding all week, then the baseball team made their first appearance in the 1A championship game.
