DES MOINES, Iowa -- One of the headlining acts at the Iowa State Fair’s grandstand has cancelled the rest of her tour because of vocal health issues and that means she won't be performing at the Iowa State Fair.

Meghan Trainor announced Tuesday via her Instagram account that she was calling off her remaining tour dates, which include a show at the Iowa State Fair, because of a hemorrhaged vocal cord.

A representative with the Iowa State Fair says they heard from Meghan Trainor's camp late Tuesday morning about the cancellation of the tour. A replacement act is being sought to fill the slot left open by the cancellation.

The ‘All About That Bass’ singer was set to perform at the grandstand on the final Saturday of the fair, August 22nd. Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon were her opening acts.

Those who bought tickets for the show can receive a refund at the point of purchase.
