WARREN COUNTY, Iowa — The names of the two people killed when a motor home collided with an SUV Wednesday in Warren County have been released.

Seventy-two-year-old Karla Handy of Indianola and 9-year-old Eric Fuller of Kellerton died when the SUV they were riding in was hit by a motor home at the intersection of Highway 69 and G-76 in Medora around 9:00 a.m.

The Iowa State Patrol says the motor home was westbound on G-76 when it ran through a stop sign and smashed into the northbound SUV.

Three other people were injured, two of them were flown to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines for treatment. Kim Fuller is listed in good condition and Lillian Fuller is listed in critical condition. The third person’s condition is unknown.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.

A GoFundMe site has been set up to accept donations for the family.
