DES MOINES, Iowa -- Visitors to the Iowa State Fair have been stopping at the wood carver area to see a carving in the likeness of Donald Trump.

Gary Keenan said he was having dinner with friends right before Trump came to the Fair. One of his friends challenged him to carve Trump's likeness.

"There wasn't time for that," said Keenan. "But I could do a bear."

Keenan spent three hours with a chainsaw and a piece of wood to come up with Donald Trump as a bear.

"I've done lots of bears," said Keenan. "We're fairly efficient at doing bears, it's just a little more challenging to put the blond, comb-over, and the red tie." He said the sign he made says "U R Fired."

On the back side it says, "Have a Nice Day."

Keenan was hoping Trump would come up to see his creation but he did not.

The Des Moines carver is not a big Trump supporter, it was just that his personality was easy to put into wood.

He has no plans to carve any other candidates.
