Search Warrant in Ottumwa Ends with Drug Arrests

OTTUMWA, Iowa – A search warrant executed on Wednesday morning led to two drug arrests.

At approximately 7 a.m., authorities completed a search warrant of a residence located at 102 S. Van Buren in Ottumwa.

During the search, officers found items consistent with the distribution of methamphetamine, marijuana, two loaded guns and money.

Authorities have charged 45-year-old James Grace and 39-year-old Brandie Grace, who are owners of the home.

James and Brandie have both been charged with possession with the intent to deliver more than five grams of methamphetamine, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

Additionally, James is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He is currently already on federal parole for previous drug trafficking offenses.

They are both being held in the Wapello County Jail.
