Home invasion in 800 block of East 21st Street in Des Moines. (WHO-HD)
DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are investigating an early morning home invasion on the city’s east side.
It happened in 800 block of East 21st Street just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say two men broke into a home with a revolver and a baseball bat. They say the men were able to escape before officers arrived at the scene.
Officials say no one inside the home was hurt. There is no word if anything was taken from the home.
Police have not released any information about the suspects or whether and arrests have been made in the case.
