ONAWA, Iowa — Republican presidential hopeful Scott Walker is on the campaign trail in Iowa.
He will visit a coffee shop in Greenfield Thursday morning.
This comes after a stop at a diner in Onawa Wednesday. While there, Walker re-stated concerns about China’s cyber attacks against the U.S. government in terms of intellectual property theft.
He has also joined other GOP candidates to call on President Obama to cancel next month’s state dinner for the Chinese president.
“It seems rather ridiculous that we would be honoring that government with one of our highest distinctions and that is an official state visit. That is something the President and people like Hillary Clinton seem to have their head in the sand and ignore that that’s a reality,” said Walker.
China’s president is scheduled to make his first visit to the White House in late September.
