Female Suspect Sought in Git-N-Go Robbery

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are looking for a woman believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station.

It happened at the Git-N-Go gas station in the 800 block of East Euclid Avenue around 7:23 p.m. Monday.

An employee told police the suspect, who he described as a mixed race female, was wearing a gray mask and a black hoodie. She is 5’6” to 5’8” and very thin. She also has brown hair.

The woman gave the worker a note that said “I have a weapon, give me all your money.” The clerk then gave her $200 and she left the store.

The suspect’s clothing was found on the corner of Wright Street and Hull Avenue that may help officers find the suspect.
