Altoona Restaurant Burglarized Overnight

ALTOONA, Iowa — The Altoona Police and Polk County Sheriff’s Office are working together to solve several burglaries that occurred overnight.

On September 11, at approximately 3:50 a.m., the Fireside Grille in Altoona was burglarized and an ATM located inside the business was taken.

One of the vehicles used in this burglary was stolen out of Polk County earlier Friday morning. This vehicle was recovered a short time later unoccupied.

Police are looking for three male subjects who broke out the glass of one of the service doors and gained access to the business. Once the suspects entered the business they removed the ATM and its contents.
