I-Cubs Set to Host Open House for Chicago Cubs Wild-Card Playoff Game

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Cubs announced on Monday that they will host an open house at Principal Park and the Cub Club restaurant on Oct. 7 for the upcoming Chicago Cubs wild-card playoff game.

The playoff game will played on the stadium’s brand new HD video board under the lights, according to the Iowa Cubs. The event will begin at 6 p.m., as fans are encouraged to come to the park and enjoy beer as well as food specials.

Playoff merchandise for the Chicago Cubs, in addition to Iowa Cubs merchandise discounts will be available for purchase.

Admission and parking are free for the event.

The Chicago Cubs also plan to show the playoff game at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs are expected to play the Pirates in Pittsburgh, but the playoff standings are not finalized yet.
