DES MOINES, Iowa --  Ringling Brothers bring their “Built To Amaze!” show back to Wells Fargo Arena Friday through Sunday. This is one of the last stops for the tour.

“We love coming to Des Moines, Iowa. It’s one of my favorite places to stop. We love the food here,” said Ashley Vargas, E “The people here are the nicest people in the world. They always make us feel a part of the family.”

Opening night is October 16 and features an All Access Pre-Show at 6 p.m., an hour before show time. Guests are invited to join the fun on the arena floor and meet the international cast of performers.

“You have to come early. You can’t beat it. It’s a hands on experience that gives you a chance to be a part of the show,” said Vargas “It’s also really fun for the adults. They get a chance to ask the performers questions.”

Vargas said the pre-show interaction is what got her hooked on the circus when she was a child.

“I hope the children walk away with some creativity. I hope they leave with some inspiration,” said Vargas. “We want to show them that they can imagine to be anything.”

Audiences can pick up hip dance moves during the dance party, try on custom costumes, learn circus skills like juggling from the famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley, and even have the opportunity to witness and win a one-of-a-kind masterpiece created by one of the world-famous Ringling Bros. painting pachyderms.
