IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Following Iowa's big victory over then-ranked No. 20 Northwestern, the Hawkeyes have moved up the rankings.

Iowa now sits at No. 12 in the AP Top 25 and No. 13 in the USA Today Anway Coaches Poll. The Hawkeyes climb five spots in the AP poll as they were ranked No. 17 last week.

Kirk Ferentz's undefeated team would have to lose twice to not make the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis later this year. Iowa now heads into their well-timed bye week before hosting Maryland on Halloween.
