Drug Bust in Fort Dodge Yields One Arrest

FORT DODGE, Iowa –A Fort Dodge man is in the Webster County Jail facing several drug charges.

Officers with the Webster County Drug Task Force took 19-year-old Jerique Bryson into custody Friday after executing a search warrant at 2024 5th Ave. N. in Fort Dodge.

A large amount of multiple kinds of narcotics were located in the home along with a loaded gun.

Bryson is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver Promethazine with Codeine – while in possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, one count of possession with intent to deliver Acetaminophen with Codeine — while in possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to deliver Alprazolam  – while in possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a firearm by a felon, and three counts of possession of unlabeled prescription medication.

Officials say the arrest was the result of an ongoing narcotics and firearms investigation.
