Des Moines Looking to Fill 200+ Teaching Positions

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Public School district announced Tuesday it wants to hire more than 200 new teachers for the 2016-2017 school year.

The district will host the 2016 Educator Career Fair to fill a variety of vacant positions from retiring, promoted or departing teachers.

The career fair will be held Iowa Events Center at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9.

You can register for the career fair at jobs.dmschools.org. Walk-ins will be interviewed as time allows, the district said.
