EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Iowa Hawkeyes are on a two-week winning streak against the Spartans.
The Hawkeyes (13-3, 4-0 Big Ten) dominated Michigan State (16-2, 3-2) again Thursday night 76-59, beating them on the road for the first time since 1993.
Jarrod Uthoff finished with 15 points after scoring his first points in the first half and nabbed 10 rebounds. Anthony Clemmons scored 13 points and Dom Uhl had 10.
This is Iowa’s sixth straight win since losing at Iowa State.
“We need to thank Iowa State for teaching us that lesson. Just because you have a big lead doesn’t mean the other team is going to lie down and quit,” Clemmons said in a post-game interview.
