FORT DODGE, Iowa -- A Fort Dodge man is behind bars after police say he harassed a woman by throwing a fake explosive through her kitchen window.

40-year-old Tyrone Fudge is charged with simulated explosive violation and first degree harassment.

Police say a woman called Sunday around 6:20 p.m. reporting Fudge threw an object with a lighter attached to it through the kitchen window of her Fort Dodge home.

After an investigation and search, officers determined the object was a simulated explosive device and that Fudge had another similar one in his home.

Officials say Fudge could face more charges due to the device found in his home.
