Sgt. Gary Lang with the Urbandale Police Department says the incident began around 6:11 p.m. when they received a call from someone who said they were being followed by a reckless driver.

Officers pursued the reckless driver, Senger, who hit a DART bus at the intersection of Parkview Drive and Meredith Drive. The car spun out into the front yard of a home.

Senger was taken into custody. Police say they don’t know why he was in the area.

The driver of the DART bus was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
