Two Suspects Rob Des Moines Bank

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Friday morning.

Police say the robbery at the Central Bank at 4018 University was called in at 8:46 a.m.

Witnesses told officers the suspects were two black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts, dark-colored jeans, and bandanas covering their faces. One of the men displayed a handgun during the robbery.

The suspects were last seen running southbound from the bank.
