A third place finish last night for Marco Rubio was almost as good as a win.
Rubio doubled his poll numbers and finished closer to first place than he did to fourth place in Iowa on Monday night.
On Tuesday, he took his momentum to New Hampshire as well with a familiar message for those voters.
"It's not just about winning one election, it's about growing the number of Americans who vote on the basis of limited government, free enterprise and a strong national defense," Rubio said Tuesday. "We need to unify the conservative movement and the Republican Party. I can do that better than anyone that's running."
Rubio had more total votes Monday night than Rick Santorum had when he won the caucuses in 2012.
