Indiana Stays Perfect at Home, Knocks Off Iowa 85-78

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana -- The Hawkeyes haven't won an outright Big Ten title since 1970. They last shared the trophy in 1979. No championships since the 70s, and no win Thursday night -- Indiana wins, 85-78.

Historic Assembly Hall rocked as the Hoosiers were hungry for a signature win, and  undefeated at home this season. Stat of the night: Indiana is 6-1 in the past five years against top 5 teams.

Indiana jumped all over Iowa early, running out to a 16 point lead. The Hawks cut it to 7 by halftime.

In the second half, Iowa took the lead, but couldn't hold it.  Indiana stays perfect at home, knocking off Iowa 85-78.

Jarrod Uthoff had 24 points for Iowa. Adam Woodbury pulled down 15 rebounds. Hawks fall into a 3-way tie for first in the Big Ten at 10-2. Indiana and Maryland share the top spot.

Iowa will have a rematch with Indiana at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
