Waukee Wins First State Swimming Title

MARSHALLTOWN -  For the first time in school history Waukee has the best boys swim team in the state.

The Warriors had just 1 individual winner, but rode tons of depth to the championship.

Senior Josh Waltman won the 100 butterfly in a time of 50.01 seconds.

Waukee finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the 3 relays and had multiple  events with numerous point scorers.

Isaak Webb was the only other local winner winning the breaststroke for Newton.
