DES MOINES, Iowa - The President and Executive Director of the Partnership for a Drug-Free Iowa said he would do whatever necessary to obtain illegal medicine if he were a parent who felt it could help his sick child.  "If it were me, I'd get what I thought worked and damn the consequences." said Peter Komendowski.  Still, he is trying to convince State lawmakers to be cautious when establishing medical cannabis oil dispensaries in Iowa and deciding which conditions should qualify a patient for legal use of the medicine.

Komendowski was a guest on Thursday's Channel 13 News at 4.
