Northern Iowa Bounces Back With Win Over Illinois State

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – After falling to Loyola of Chicago on Wednesday, Northern Iowa got back on track Saturday with a win over Illinois State.

The Panthers beat the Red Birds for the 12th consecutive time at home, 75-66.

Wes Washpun led the way with 18 points, five assists and four rebounds.

Northern Iowa (17-12, 9-7) will now have at least a .500 conference record this season for the 13th straight year.
