Conservative Trying to Knock Steve King Out of Office

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Rep. Steve King knows how to rile up the Democrats. Every two years they say they’re going to beat him, and every two years, King smokes the Democratic opponent in a Republican-heavy district.

But now, King may have a Republican challenger.

Prominent Republican donor and Super PAC operative Nick Ryan has been trying to find a Republican who can beat King in June.

This has been one of the more serious talks to get King out of office since King took office in 2003.
