Garth Brooks Shatters Record; All 88,000 Des Moines Tickets Sell Out

DES MOINES, Iowa –Tickets for all six of Garth Brooks shows in Des Moines have sold out, shattering a 1996 record.

It was first announced on March 2 that the country star would come to Des Moines on April 30. An additional five shows were announced the next week.

The Iowa Events Center announced Monday that all six Garth Brooks shows at Wells Fargo Arena are sold out.

“Over 88,000 combined tickets were sold for the six shows, breaking his previous Iowa record of 42,391 in Ames 1996,” officials said.

The six shows are his only stop in Iowa on his 2016 World Tour.
