Des Moines Git n’ Go Store Robbed

DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the Git n' Go station at 2911 Douglas around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday on a robbery. Police say the suspect was armed with a knife and got away with money from the register and the store safe.

Police say the suspect was a white male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and he had scarf covering his face. He fled the area on foot.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Just last week another Git n’ Go store was robbed -- twice. That happened on Southwest 9th Street.
