DES MOINES, Iowa -- The popular 80/35 Music Festival in Des Moines’ Western Gateway Park has announced its first slate of performers.

Hip-hop artist Nas and folk band The Decemberists are headlining the July 8th and 9th event. They are among the first 30 acts announced for the three-stage festival. Overall, close to 50 acts are expected to perform.

Two-day tickets are on sale now for $65 and one-day tickets for $42 here. Day-of tickets will sell for $90 for a two-day pass and $50 for a one-day pass.

Festival organizers released a tentative schedule for the acts announced Wednesday and say more bands will be added in May.
