A Wind Advisory went into effect at 10 a.m. for counties mainly west of I-35 and North of I-80, and will be in place until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Sustained winds will be 25-35 mph, but wind gusts will reach up to 40 mph out of the northwest at times in this advisory area.WHO-HD

Although temperatures will be in the middle 50s Wednesday afternoon, these winds will make it feel much colder. You may want to dress with an extra layer or two.

Winds will begin to die down Wednesday night, but will still be between 10-20 mph out of the northwest.

These breezy conditions seem to be the trend this week as winds are expected to increase again on Thursday and Friday.
