Generations of central Iowa kids grew up with locally produced shows like "Floppy" and "Betty Lou and the Magic Window."

That tradition is returning at Iowa Public Television's studios.

Dan Wardell has been entertaining kids for years in the IPTV clubhouse during "Festival.” The IPTV Kids Clubhouse skits are being expanded into a full show.

You can get a sneak preview of the new show this weekend. IPTV is holding a premiere party at its studio at 6450 Corporate Drive in Johnston.

There are two showings Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. It’s free to attend, but space is expected to fill up fast.
