The Westcom Emergency Communications Center says all 911 services to Westcom are back in service and stable for Clive, Norwalk, Urbandale, Waukee, and West Des Moines.

Centurylink was able to make the necessary repairs for the issue, and services were restored and fully functioning at approximately 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

At approximately 8 a.m., Westcom was initially alerted about an issue with incoming 911 landline calls transferred to administrative lines. When calling from a landline, the voice would come through but no location information was known about the call.

Callers could still reach 911 normally via wireless phones previously.
