CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The Freedom Rock in Cedar Falls is back to normal after suffering graffiti damage.

Vandals spray painted graffiti on it over the Memorial Day weekend, but officials tell us they were able to remove the paint Tuesday.

A few smudges were left behind due to the vandalism but the rock's artist, Ray “Bubba” Sorensen II, says he already has plans to touch up his work later this week.

Sorensen has made it his goal to create a “Freedom Rock” in each of Iowa’s 99 counties.
