DES MOINES, Iowa -- Some of Des Moines' food trucks may be headed for a shake-up.

The city is considering cracking down on how late they can serve up food. Officials say they're considering the change after receiving complaints about noise and trash.

It would not apply to the downtown food trucks -- just those that park on private property.

The proposed change would mean the trucks would have to pack up at 10:30 p.m. The property owner would also have to pay $550 each year to have the trucks there.

City council members are set to vote on the proposal later this month.
