LUCAS COUNTY, Iowa — A Des Moines woman out on bond and awaiting trial on two counts of vehicular homicide by OWI was arrested again over the weekend and charged with OWI in another case.

Police say 53-year-old Deanna Gliem was drunk and driving twice the speed limit when she struck a vehicle on November 15th, killing its two occupants, 60-year-old Richard Hummel and 59-year-old Randall Sonnenburg.

She is also charged with two counts of vehicular homicide-reckless driving in that case.

Online court records show Gliem was arrested over the weekend in Lucas County and charged with OWI. Bond was posted and Gliem was released from jail.

Gliem is set to go to trial on the vehicular homicide charges in September.
