“I think we can with cancer,” said oncologist Dr. Richard Deming, who is the medical director at Mercy Cancer Center in Des Moines and the founder of Above and Beyond Cancer.
“Cancer does not know political boundaries,” Deming said.
He says there will be 1.7 million new cancer diagnoses this year and there will be 600,000 people die of cancer.
