DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Iowa Civil Rights Commission is making some changes after a lawsuit was filed last week.

The Fort Des Moines Church of Christ filed the lawsuit Monday.

It claims the commission is unconstitutionally forcing churches to censor biblical teachings about sexuality, and forcing churches to open restrooms and showers to members of the opposite sex.

According to the Des Moines Register, the commission has since updated its brochure to clarify when churches are and aren't exempt from discrimination laws.
