WATERLOO, Iowa -- A camp in Waterloo is helping kids who've battled cancer connect with one another.

The Boys and Girls Club and Children's Cancer Connection put on on the camp together. It aims to make the kids realize their full potential, through fun and games.

"It makes me feel that I can be normal and feel that I can fit in," one child said. "It's nice knowing that someone else understands you and understands what you've been through."

A similar camp will be held at the Y Camp in Boone next month.
