1 Man Hospitalized, 1 Man Arrested After Stabbing in Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man in the neck on Saturday night, according to the Des Moines Register.

The incident happened in the 1900 block of Jefferson Avenue around 10:30 p.m. in Des Moines.

Upon arrival, authorities found a man who was in critical condition and lying the street covered in blood. The victim was taken into surgery and is expected to survive, police say.

Police identified 33-year-old Thea Ngov of Des Moines as a suspect in the incident and arrested him. He is charged with willful injury causing serious injury.
