DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines residents will have the chance to get ice cream on-demand on Friday thanks to the local Uber fleet.

It's the ever popular "Uber Ice Cream Day."

All residents have to do is open the Uber app on their phone and request ice cream.

Within minutes, an Uber driver should arrive to deliver a six-pack of Magnum ice cream bars for the low cost of just $10.

Uber offers similar service for flu shots and kittens on demand at different times of the year.
