DES MOINES, Iowa -- A water main break has caused some issues for travelers driving along Fleur Drive Sunday night.

According to Ted Corrigan of Des Moines Water Works, the break occurred around 5 p.m. and has shut down the northbound lanes of Fleur Drive between George Flagg Pkwy and MLK Jr. Pkwy.

Crews will likely be working to repair the issue all night Sunday and possibly into Monday morning.

Des Moines Water Works is hoping to work with the city to combine traffic in southbound lanes.
