Credit Union Robbed, Woman Charged While Police Search for 2 Other Suspects

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police are investigating a credit union robbery that occurred on Tuesday.

Officers say two men robbed the Tradesmen Community Credit Union at gun point around 9:30 a.m. After taking off on foot, they left behind some cash at 3rd and Forest.

Police pulled over a red car in that area, which witnesses reported seeing at the time of the robbery.

After questioning the two people in the car, Alyssa Johnson was charged with first-degree robbery and criminal mischief.

Officers released the other person in the car but are still investigating the robbery.

Des Moines police want your help identifying the two men inside the credit union who were captured on surveillance cameras.
