DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa State Fair is fit for all ages of animals, including those who are just days old.

Dozens of baby animals are on display at the Animal Learning Center, near the Hy-Vee Fun Forest.

The center features live births of chicks, ducks, and goats — just to name a few.

Officials say it’s a learning experience as well as a miracle.

“You get to see births happen right in front of your eyes,” said Courtney Schaffer of the Animal Learning Center. “You get to see the magic of life and see an animal take its first breath and I think its just a really beautiful thing.”
