POLK COUNTY, Iowa – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of two people found dead in a home in Saylor Township Tuesday.

The bodies of Alicia Arpy, 42, and Raymond Silbaugh III, 26, were found shortly before 4 p.m. in the home at 320 NW 54th Avenue. Both are from Des Moines.

Officials discovered the bodies after a welfare check was performed at the home. A deceased dog was also found.

The home was foreclosed on in July and authorities say it was without power. They also say that a generator was found inside the home and are investigating whether or not it is related to the deaths.

No obvious signs of trauma were found and autopsies are being performed Wednesday.

Officials say there is no threat to the community in the case.
