BOONE, Iowa- The Farm Progress Show has concluded it’s 3 day run for 2016. The show saw sunny weather the last two days.

There are some 600 exhibitors to visit while at the event, but only five offer people a real hands on experience with their product.

The Ride and Drive area features Dodge Ram, Chevrolet, Yamaha,Titan Tire, and Michelin Tires. At each stop people are asked to sign a waiver, and in one case don boots and a helmet.

For Des Moines Titan Tire, it’s about that companies new product.

“It is the worlds largest, ag farm tire, the LSW 1400, 30 R46,” said Scot Sloan, of Titan Tire in Des Moines. “Typically a dual combination on larger tractors we’re not able to offer a super single better flotation, less compaction.

Titan had their new tires on a giant 4 wheel drive John Deere, and people also could drive a number of the giant tractors.

Michelin Tires was promoting a new reinforced steel tire tread, and people could drive John Deere skid steer loaders to see how much smoother the new tire could be.
