Trump to Court Iowa Voters at Tuesday Rally

CLIVE, Iowa --Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is returning to Iowa Tuesday for a campaign rally in Clive.

Trump will be trying to win over Iowa voters at the Seven Flags Event Center as the race gets tighter and tighter.

The latest poll from Simpson College and RABA Research shows Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton with just one percentage point separating them in Iowa. Trump is at 40% and Clinton is at 39%.

Many national polls show them in a virtual tie for the general election.

Doors open for Tuesday’s rally at 9:00 a.m. but people were already in line to reserve their spot by 5:00 a.m. Trump is expected to begin speaking shortly after noon.
