FORT WORTH, Texas — Iowa State came into Saturday’s game against TCU as a heavy underdog and that proved to be the case.

The Horned Frogs jumped out to a 24-7 halftime lead and never looked back, winning 41-20.

Joel Lanning started at quarterback for the Cyclones and racked up 158 total yards and two touchdowns. Backup quarterback Jacob Park also played, throwing for 90 yards.

Mike Warren had his best game of the season as he rushed for 95 yards but it wasn’t nearly enough.

Big 12 leading receiver Allen Lazard was held to just one catch.

Iowa State falls to 0-3 on the season.

The Cyclones return home next week to face San Jose State in the final non-conference game of the year.
