WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- An art market took place for the first time at Jordan Creek Mall this weekend.

High school students from all over the United States showcased their best work.

They had 120 students apply but only 75 were chosen.

It also had great entertainment, craft beer, wine and more.

"There's art available in all techniques and various price points," said coordinator and artist Mary Ann Holmes. "So we have things that are much more affordable that even high school kids can buy. That's part of our idea is to have art that is approachable for everybody."
